Methods of Donating

The Fund is entitled to reclaim repayment of Income Tax on all donations. If the donor is a higher rate tax-payer, he or she will get higher rate tax relief.

Donate Using PayPal

You don’t need to be subscribed to PayPal to make a one-off donation and you can pay with a credit card or debit card if you wish. All donations are processed securely via PayPal.

Standing Order

A monthly standing order will enable the charity to claim the basic rate tax of 22%. Donors paying higher rate tax at 40% will be able to claim the 18% difference between the 40% top rate and basic rate when they fill in their annual self-assessment form. To give in this manner will enable the Fund to handle the Welfare Budget with accuracy and generosity.

Gifts by Will

Legacies are a very important source of income for The Royal Theatrical Fund. We need your Legacies, however large or small. They may be contained in a new Will, or by just making a Codicil to your existing Will. All gifts and bequests are now wholly exempt from Inheritance Tax and details are available below. Please contact the Secretary for the appropriate form.
